Dresser Makeover

We have had this super solid Mahogany dresser
since my daughter was born, almost 4 years ago.
It's gotten bumped and bruised over the years,
especially with the few moves we've had.

Now that my kids are sharing a room,
we have no space for this big ol' thing in there.
But it was so nice I didn't want to get rid of it.
And ... I've been wanting a buffet for the dining room
to store all the 'extras' that don't quite fit anywhere else.

This dresser turned out to be the perfect solution!
Thankful when the perfect solution is FREE.
About 8 cans of spray paint and some elbow grease
was all it took to turn that into this!

I lined all the drawers with a black
and white vintage-inspired lining,
removed the middle sections out of the 2 doors
and secured chicken wire to make it see-through,
antiqued the edges of the dresser, drawers and doors,
and replaced the original bronze hardware.

I couldn't be more happy with the outcome.
I love a good project when they come my way!
